Mindfulness with sleeping problems
In order to sleep well, we must be able to relax and release the stress and tension of the day. We can not force ourselves to sleep; we can only let the sleep happen. The harder we try to sleep, the harder it gets. Poor sleep makes us irritable, moody and worsens our memory. If we are not careful, we can even get stuck in a vicious circle.
A short meditation at bedtime, for example a body scan or simply concentrating on your breathing when you are in bed, can make all the difference. Mindfulness teaches you an attitude of presence in the moment, without judging or wanting to change the experience. This allows the mind to fall asleep more gently. Also mindfulness-meditation exercises during the day helps to reduce stress by letting go of negative thoughts about the past and leaving unnecessary worries about the future. This combination makes mindfulness a natural and sustainable way to deal with your sleeping problems.
Free introductory meeting
In a introductory meeting it often becomes clear if an individual or a group approach suits you best. In this interview, we look among other things at the causes behind the sleeping problem, where the energy leaks are and we try to get your main question clear. You get the opportunity to see if my approach appeals to you. If that is the case, we will jointly see how many sessions are desirable and we will make a follow-up appointment.

I combine life coaching with meditation (mindfulness) practices. My way of coaching is characterized by a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. In my method I will also make use of Transformational Presence, nonviolent communication, The Work of Byron Katie and Voice Dialogue.
My personal mission is to facilitate you in an unbiased way in your own process. I do this by giving back what I see and hear, by asking questions and questioning when necessary. Equality and non-judgment are very important to me. This is directly integrated in the way I work.
Probably the most important step for lasting happiness is completely letting go of the identification with thoughts and feelings and to investigate where the core of the mind lies. Coaching is a effective way to guide you in this sometimes confusing path.
With Beyond Mindfulness I aim to make some of the wisdom of the traditional movements (i.e. Buddhism) accessible to a larger group, in order to let people experience long-term inner peace, joy and happiness. In my personal quest, Due to my curious and searching nature, I have walked various paths. I studied in Wales, I lived and worked in Tanzania and worked both in business and the mental health.
I have the ambition to make a genuine contribution so that people can act less from fear and more from love and a connection to life. With my experiences as a meditation practitioner and as a professional trainer-coach I can offer an unique combination of activities.
