More than 1 million Dutch people suffer from burn-out complaints. 36% of absenteeism is due to work stress. And young employees aged 25-35 have relatively often burn-out complaints, namely 17%. 240,000 young Dutchpeople! Mindfulness is known to be a powerful way to reverse this trend.
Mindfulness creates space between you and your emotions
In a mindfulness training you will learn to let go of stress. You can observe your negative emotions, become aware of your automatic thought patterns and behavior and stay calm, present and alert with it. You will better recognize physical signals and indicate your own boundaries. Mindfulness also increases job satisfaction, your creativity and reduces anxiety symptoms and negative thinking. This considerably reduces the chance of stress and burn-out.
Free introductory meeting
In a free introductory meeting, it becomes clear which trajectory suits you best. In some situations life coachingis advisable, for another the 8-week mindfulness trainingand for someone with more meditation (mindfulness) experience the best choice is probably an in-depth training. Sometimes a therapist or a specific retreat, outside of Beyond Mindfulness is better suited and hence will be advised.

I combine life coaching with meditation (mindfulness) practices. My way of coaching is characterized by a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. In my method I will also make use of Transformational Presence, nonviolent communication, The Work of Byron Katie and Voice Dialogue.
My personal mission is to facilitate you in an unbiased way in your own process. I do this by giving back what I see and hear, by asking questions and questioning when necessary. Equality and non-judgment are very important to me. This is directly integrated in the way I work.
Probably the most important step for lasting happiness is completely letting go of the identification with thoughts and feelings and to investigate where the core of the mind lies. Coaching is a effective way to guide you in this sometimes confusing path.
With Beyond Mindfulness I aim to make some of the wisdom of the traditional movements (i.e. Buddhism) accessible to a larger group, in order to let people experience long-term inner peace, joy and happiness. In my personal quest, Due to my curious and searching nature, I have walked various paths. I studied in Wales, I lived and worked in Tanzania and worked both in business and the mental health.
I have the ambition to make a genuine contribution so that people can act less from fear and more from love and a connection to life. With my experiences as a meditation practitioner and as a professional trainer-coach I can offer an unique combination of activities.
