Stress is our biggest occupational disease, with half of the employees suffering from fysical problems due to stress, a third having difficulties in letting go of work in evenings and one out of ten has Burn-out symptoms. This is unsustainable and mindfulness at work (meditation) offers a powerful way out.
Therefore it is not surprising that more and more companies are drawn by its results of lowering stress, increasing empathy, creativity and joy and enabling more aware choices. Moreover mindfulness at work has proven to increase concentration and effectiveness on the work floor.

I have been working as a mindfulness trainer for almost 8 years, I have worked in business for many years and trained people from all layers of an organization.

This mini-workbook stimulates you to take the first steps in the world of mindfulness and self-compassion and helps you to bring it in to practice.
Beyond Mindfulness offers an in-company trajectory as well as individual mindfulness at work coaching. In both cases the approach will be pragmatic, down-to-earth, in-depth and it will expose habitual responses.
This is based on the insights and approach of the founders of mindfulness and a mixture between traditional Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Jon Kabat Zinn and the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) by Mark Williams, Zindel Segal and John Teasdale.
Moreover both approaches provide practical and playful pathways that are easy to apply both inside and outside work. Sharon Salzberg, a major teacher in this field, is an important inspiration for this mindfulness at work training.
With Beyond Mindfulness I aim to make the wisdom of the traditional movements (i.e. Buddhism) accessible to a larger group, in order to let people experience long-term inner peace, joy and happiness. In my personal quest, Due to my curious and searching nature, I have walked various paths. I studied in Wales, I lived and worked in Tanzania and worked both in business and the mental health.
I have the ambition to make a genuine contribution so that people can act less from fear and more from love and a connection to life. With my experiences as a meditation practitioner and as a professional trainer-coach I can offer a unique combination of activities.
